That is true,it is paintable.Although,self defeating for the purpose paint protection.Also,you can always re-do it.I paid the extra dough for UV protectant,it works.Since the Line-X is applied hot,it has a tighter,denser surface.It doesn`t take in dirt and seals better from being less porous.I think this helps it resist fading better.
