Those tanks,usually there`s two,are dealer-installed/aftermarket.GM did start offering a single driver-side auxilary tank in`71.It would have a filler out of the bed near the top and front of the bedside.There will be a matching knob to the left of the instrument panel on a switch that controls the gaude.There`s a little label stuck there that says,"Main/Aux".The valve/switch would be located in the same location or similar to the others described.
