I bought a Vintage Air sure fit unit last year. I live in Tampa and it gets hot here also. My ac unit cools down my cab in any heat. I recently changed my seats and insulated the floor and cab walls for sound proofing and heat. I have noticed a big diff. in noise but really its rained so much lately it hasn't been that hot. Vintage Air came with everything I needed including the dash vents and went in easy. I'm very happy with it and would reccommend it without any hesitation at all. I don't have any vents under the dash, it looks like factory air. Oh yeah, you do lose some glove box space with this unit but they supply a new glove box to install so it clears everything. Sweet!
