I installed a PAC IR-X Infrared IR Remote Eye Extender Repeater IRX with a voltage spike prevention harness that I built using the instructions from the chevelle website (I think it's posted in this thread). PM me if you need specific instructions....
I have this system in both of my trucks and it works perfectly.
