Re: new doors?
I bought a whole Goodmark front end kit including the cowl hood. I decided against new doors and went with full skins so I wouldn't have lots of time invested or have any issues with less than perfectly straight seams on the smaller filler panels. The original skins were a bear to get off but the new ones went right back on after using some rust restorer and paint inside the remainder of the doors. It also gave me a chance to get sound deadner on the new skins and the rest of the inside without any battles. I left the skins loosely crimped on the door till it gapped up good all around then set it and sealed it. The only part of the whole deal that turned into trouble was getting the hood gaps right.
My advice is get full door skins, the $80 each is a lot less than the cost of the body work to make the fillers look good. They're EDP coated and will never be a problem again.
