I was thinking of getting the same compressor (the IR). I LIke this one for the 18.1 cfm and the price as im on a very tight budget. Like you i will be useing this for everything, impact, paint gun, sanding, rachet, etc. How do you like it? I would also like to get some feedback from others two. Well....My compressor showed up and I was wound up. She's a real beauty! However, my wife and I have been contemplating moving so I didn't want to rewire the garage if we were going to be leaving. So, the compressor sat on a pallet all wrapped up. Then, my brother-in-law bought the truck of his dreams ('48 Ford F-1
) and I have been helping him restore it. We finally needed and fired up the compressor for the first time the other day when we had to blow out all of the sand out of his cab from the sandblasters. So I can't really say if I'm happy with it yet or not. It seems to work fine and didn't seem to be too loud. We're about to start using the hell out of it so I'll let ya know.
