Just an idea, but can open the door then lock the door, then push in on the door handle button and then shut the door and it stay locked? I know some older cars you can do that with but not sure if it applies to these trucks. I don't dare try it with mine because I have no keys for my door locks. nope i tried that when i first got mine before i learned that its a safety thing the only way to lock the doors is with them closed by using the key or pushing the lock down from the inside
