I hear ya but it was a necessary evil.

Plans are in the works for a bolt on fender lip that will (should) look like the originals.

It works and that's my story.

The one ton conversion is the easy part but start adding in the gears/spooled front axle/drive line e-brake/braided brake lines/roll cage/fender clearancing/detroit locker/HD diff covers/Alcan lift springs/zero rates/tilt column/cable shifter/doubler/built tranny/cardon joints/after market drive shafts/beefier axles/rock protection/ram assist steering/skid plates/383 TBI motor/2spd elec fan/remote coolers/rear discs/39.5 TSL's/fuel cell/winch/long travel shocks/bead locks/bumpers/rock sliders/loud exhaust and triple sticks, then you got some work to do.
