On this tank, yep, that ended up being the very simple fix. Lucky the guy who swapped the neck only cost me $20 so wasn't too big of a loss. Course it could be the company that made this tank has placed the filler in the more correct position and angle - I don't know about that. I have the box the tank came in still so I will get all of the info and post it.

One of our boardmembers commented that that looked like all it needed when he saw pics of my tank and I remember in Herb101's tank thread someone mentioning that that was a potential way to solve the problem.
