What is the rake you are talking about? I have seen it mentioned in another post too. I am a ex-motocrosser and an avid cyclist, and to someone from those two sports the rake refers to the angle of the headtube which affects the way the bike handles. Less rake makes a fast turning, fast handling bike, and more rake makes a slower turning, slower handling bike.
I know that that changing the tires would not effect these trucks this way so what are you refering to when you say more or less rake?
