I have been checking autotrader, missed the perfect one by a day. Right color, any everything. GM didn't really let the dealers around here have too many, or for that matter know they were available, they liked selling and marketing the 4X4's, and the 4 doors, more profit I would guess! It seems they are all located in the south and western states, where snow isn't an issue from what I see.
This going to be for me and my daughter to drive, my wife prefers her 4 door. Daughter says 4 door won't work for her, it looks like "family car". 2DR. is "sporty" enough for her and she likes the truck , has a full frame, and lots of room and comfort, V8 motor, and plenty of crash protection! I would prefer a 95, because I will give it to her next year.
Most of the ones I have checked were built in Mexico, did they build any in the U.S.?
I have kicked around the idea of taking a 4X4 and making it a 2WD, how hard would that be? I haven't really studied the two frames to compare.
