I agree with neonlarry, if you're going to do a tuneup anyway, go for the hei distribuor. 50 bucks from the junkyard, and it starts easier and will probably pick up 1-2 mpg as well. It's a direct swap, with the exception of a couple of little wiring changes. I can't help with the seat, my '72 had a 60-40 slit bench from a '98 in it when I bought it (that's another mod that I would highly recommend!)
