Decided to work on the ramhorns... Broke out the wire wheel on the grinder to prep for Hot Jet coating.... I'm having trouble with the AIR holes that are plugged in both sides. I'm trying to replace them with alan head plugs but 40 years of heat and rust are working against me....
I also seem to have some kind of alignment problems with the front pulleys.... What did I forget? I measured the old pump with the new and it's only 1/8" difference so it must be something with the crank pully.... any thoughts?
Carb is on, HEI is back in.... once the ramhorns are coated then its time for plugs, wires and hopefully starting it again...
Oh yeah, my spin-on filter adapter is leaking badly just while priming the engine...
Anyone used on of them with success or should I just go back with the canister?
