This EFI is $1200 for the works. I seen a parts list of everything I'd need to put such a setup together with off the shelf parts............But that would end up being $800 plus my time, so I don't see where the bolt on kit and go at that price is all that bad............IF it works as well as they say.

On days like today when it was 10 degrees it really gets annoying playing with the choke. I had a small block with electric choke that worked well, but even the book says it needed adjusted periodically throughout the year with temperature changes(This was a 600 CFM edelbrock)..........For me, that is just an annoyance to do every so often. I want something that is done once and is done for a good while. I just hate to be the curious george and try the kit myself, I figured maybe someone else out there already had one on a truck for a time now.
