You know... if my truck still had the inline 6, I would have rebuilt it too. They have plenty of power and are much better on gas than alot of V8's.
I like the fact you are keeping it "stock". So many people yank the 6's out and stuff in 350's. Different is good.
My truck stock came with a 6 but I found a 283 to rebuild for it. It came out of a '68 3/4 ton.
I bet on the size of the box, it is a back glass of sorts.
