Ok scratch the vette idea for now. I found this link
http://www.rearman.com/truck.htm which offers a rear gear replacement for the heavy duty rear ends from 72 chevy trucks which offer a 3.90 or 4.10 direct replacement instead of using ford rear. Any opinions?
