I don't know much about the shroud. It came with my truck when i bought it. The truck had a BB in it so i assume it is a BB shroud. The BB was out of a mid 80's truck so I don;t know if the shroud was also from that era or not. I just noticed that damage you mentioned, and that section is broken off. Let me know what you decide.
