Those little devils go from the frame to the bottom lip of the fender. The rear one is nutted to a hole about three inches back from the wheel opening. The front one is nutted to the front of the fender in the middle.
I sliced off some skin trying to loosen one of those nuts because they get sprayed by water and road gunk and corrode.
