The steel isn't too terribly bad, i bought 2, 24ft sticks of 2x4 tubing for my new frame it was right at $200. but i still have 3/4 of a stick left.. i dont know if steel is more up there or not... You could probably do the backhalf, and if you don't do what i did and make a couple of wrong angles and waste some
you could possibly do what you are wanting to do with only one stick...
