This might be a helpful hint. If you are just replcing the seal (and assuming you haven't taken it apart yet), mark the position of the nut before you take it off. Then you just tighten it back to the mark. I used a small center puch to make a mark on the nut, then put a small scratch on the threads at the same point as the nut.
