That may not work because there's a variety of different spline counts on these transmissions, it's just simpler to just get a clutch kit for whatever your transmission came out of. If it came out of an '89 V8 Camaro (like my latest trans) then get the clutch kit for an '89 V8 Camaro. That's what I did. Besides I'm not sure there would be any noticeable difference between the 10.5" clutch and 11" clutch on a truck. I could be wrong on that however.
