Re: Project - '69 4x4 named "Patches"

Progress has been slower than I like, but I have no one to blame but myself. (Ignore the dust on the frame.)

However, I have been doing some small, tedious things trying to finish the frame and driveline.

I spent this past weekend painting the driveshafts and the last few crossmembers. I installed the engine and t-case crossmembers last night. There's something about the look of shiny black paint and new zinc coated grade-8 bolts.

I had my tranny and t-case rebuilt here recently so that's done at least.

The new crate 350 finally made its way on the engine stand and is awaiting paint and parts.

I've been ordering a few parts here and there when money allowed.

I have all of the necessary sheet metal now to rebuild the cab. Thanks to msgross for some of these parts.

I received my new stainless brake lines from Inline Tube yesterday.

I hope to button up the driveline in the next month or so and then move on to the cab. I guess my cab repair will be my winter project this year.
