I'm running an Edelbrock 500 on my 292 with an Offy intake too. I could argue both sides of the Holley vs Edelbrock carb debate, but the single most important thing to me is the Edelbrock has no gaskets below the gas level in the carb. Tuning isn't that big a deal for either one if you follow the directions carefully, and even that isn't something your going to be doing every week end. Having said all that, I'd still rather change rods and jets on my Edelbrock, than deal with the mess changing up a Holley. I'd ask Clifford their opinion on an Edelbrock.
