Shifter: the enclosure will be moved forward, bolted on with custom brackets, and the shift rod shortened accordingly.
Roof rack: Yes I will go with a vintage style rack when the time comes
In fact I have a VW rack with wood slats I may restore/mod to fit.

I made some more progress last night. Basically just more cutting/trimming to get the frame section and crossmember closer to fitting. I ended up needing to make a C-Notch in the Minx frame to clear the rear/lower arm mount. Pics to follow...
