I gain over 1.5" by sectioning/stretching the inner fender. This is some of the removed area (over 1.5" including the two 1/16" slices):

Prep'ing for welding, the angle grinder/wire-wheel got away from me and took a little bite

Here's the tire bottomed out at full tuck. Obviously it won't ride this low but it's nice to know I have the room:
