If I was you, i'd probably get a lower mileage or rebuilt Vortec 350 long block when I got the funds, and I think they make adaptors to mate it with the tpi intake. If not, I know they make runners to adapt it with the plenum for that app. Talk about a perfect truck motor, a 383 version of the same would be about all that could beat it for torque in a small block package. Tpi cars take off like a biotch, but fade out around 5000rpm stock. Perfect for an everyday truck.
