Yes guys your right.
The shipped the wrong size U-Bolts.
The ones that came with the 2" were JUST LONG ENOUGH to thread the nut onto, but not long enough to tighten that nut down far enough to take advantage of the built in "Lock" on the Nut's "head".

I have suggested to CPP, that when selling any future kits, they have a disclaimer that states "Whenever installing these U-Bolts, make sure they are the correct length".............
and then state the length of what each U-Bolt should be for the
cooresponding Block1", 1 1/2" or 2".

I mean even a coupon for 20% off your next purchase would be good.
At this point they, (CPP) think that there is (and I quote) "No pleaseing me".

As for installing myself, a work injury 3 years ago and 7 operations since then, pretty much render me usless when it comes to bending, stooping, laying under/over a vehicle.
