Is that what you meant by 'longer'?
If you pull back the firewall just a small amount, it would translate into a fair bit of change at the top of the windshield frame.
Simply pulling the windshield back isn't the answer.

Gesh, maybe I should have bolted my hardtop on 3 years ago like everyone said to do
