HEY TYNEE, what kinda shape is the external voltage regulator in??? Doesn't have to work, just need the cover to be rust free

Finally got a couple hours to play with the Jimmy, after all the picnics, and annual family fishing trip!

Cut the bottom off the external voltage regulator and used #10 SS panhead 1/2" screws to mount the cover

Found a nice grounding strap in the HELP section, don't know why that bolt was there in the frame, everything else is riveted, but it worked for a grounding location. Now I feel a little safer continuing on with the electrical hookups

Nice idea to put the notch in the battery box, makes for better access


put a piece of rubber hose I sliced on the core support to act as a bumper for the wiring harness. It was tight up against it




Getting closer, still have to bolt up the outside windshield mounts
