Talking Questions regarding front suspension swap and engine swap.

I may be getting a 73-80 Chevrolet fleetside with a small block V8 in it and disc brakes. Now I want to switch the engine, front suspension, and rear end into my truck. My reasons for doing this are of course, upgrading from my I6 to a small block, going from 6-lug to 5-lug all around, and then of course the disc brakes. I have a 250 in at the moment with a 2 Spd. PowerGlide transmission. What all is needed to do these swaps? Do I just swap the front crossmember for the engine and front suspension then bolt it all back up? What extra parts will I need? My truck is a 1967 Chevy C10 SWB fleetside. It's lowered 3/4, if that affects the swap any.

Thanks bunches,
Dylan
