Welllllllllllllllllllllllll . . . . .....IT'S ALIVE!!!

A little more clatter than before, but no bottom end knocking (after filling w/3.5qts of oil). It took a little persuading to get the broken threads of the nipple out, but ok other than that . . ...so far. Still reading about 30psi of pressure when cold (normal) & I'll take it out tomorrow & heat it up a little to see what the pressure does when up to temp. Thanks for the the positive words & thoughts!
