I wish we weren't 400 miles apart; I'd enjoy helping you. I'm too old to enjoy doing what you're doing anymore, but I've done plenty of it in my youth and would be happy to guide you.

Best bet on the harness is to just replace it with one from a wreck. Burned harnesses are bad luck. Shouldn't be hard to come up with a donor. Check the local yards. The engine harness for the most part just plugs in.

I like the colors too...and I'm not even a Texas Tech fan to speak of...
