I slid the cross member back and used the rear holes in the frame for the front holes in the cross member and drilled new rear holes. Then I used a scrap piece of 1 1/2" x 3" x 2 1/2" long channel and made a tab on the rear of the cross member for the trans mount and drilled for the single bolt that my 5 spd had. I probably took 2 1/2 hrs or so. The drilling was the hardest laying on my back.....glad they were only 3/8" holes.
