Thanks All, it is very cool to see the other trucks that have done this. I like seeing the variations!!

copywritten, the cap itself does not have a dome shape. The housing does, but I cut it down from a round housing to square (which removed most of the doming) and then used the inner edge of hole as the top edge to match up with the bed and filled around it with welds.

As for using a copper fitting, if the ID of it is correct, it may work, just keep in mind the sharper the elbow, the more risk of slow filling..
