Tony that's an awesome truck. You've got a pair of sweet drivers.
On the Suburban, make sure it's got a dropped pitman arm on it. That's a requirement when you lift one 6". The steering stabilizers dampen bump steer and won't help with drift. Do check where the steering box bolts to the frame as mentioned. They are notorious for cracking the frame there and the steering box working loose.
