Re: Might send it to the scrapyard

The state of Maryland is not high on my list of friendly places @ the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!The info I need is available but, do to the privacy act that they have, it can't be given out. Even if someone where to get the info from them, they would be bound to keep it and not pass it along to me. In Va., all I would have to do is go the the DMV, pay $ 10 bucks, and I could get the name to the last titled owner. Then send him a registered letter for which, he has 30 days to repsond. After that 30 day period, I could apply for a title. One of my good friends suggested Broadway title. The caveat with thim is that the vehicle must be running and inspected by a mechanic and law enforncement officer prior to sending the paper work............ Exhausting. I have a possible line on a 79' or 80' K5 in the town my parents live in so, we will see what happens with that. In the mean time, I guess I will start stripping parts of the Blazer for use in my 82' SWB......................
