If I had the cash, I would definitely foot for some lowered springs. Make sure you get lowered shocks regardless of the way you lower it. The stock shocks won't compress enough and definitely will alter the ride. I installed a set of shocks for something, one of the advantages of knowing parts guys and just giving them measurements.
