Last time I ws on the scales it weighed out at about 7500lbs.

My Dad has a cherry 90 1/2 burb with a 350 and 3.73's and he gets 10-12mpg.
My '99 GMC Suburban 1/2 ton 2wd gets 20-21 mpg on the interstate but is quite a bit worse around town. It's geared pretty high though. They don't all get terrible fuel mileage. It depends on how they are optioned.
