One piece of advice which was already mentioned above, new cars/trucks are nice, but a huge investment. With the marjority of vehicles selling for $30k+ (generally closer to the $40k for trucks) that is a major commitment especially for someone just starting out.
Not to be argumentative, new cars/trucks are not an investment, but rather a liability.
There are very, very few few new vehicles that appreciate in value.
Regardless of the marque you choose, I would stick with something used, & preferably something that can be purchased for cash, no payments.
