The Stampede just showed up today as I was getting ready to leave for work. Oh the torture!
I barely had enough time to grad the owner's manual before heading out. The night is dragging by 'cuz I'm anxiously waiting for the time to leave. I bought a Ready-to-Run kit (RTR) just to get myself back into the hobby again, what I didn't realize is the RTR kits already came assembled. Good because I get to go home, charge the batteries, and drive. Bad because I always loved building the kits myself, oh well I guess I'll just have to cope
. I'm gonna try and resist the temptation to modify this kit until my real '65 C-10 is done, but it's gonna be hard. God help me if they come out with a '60-'66 fleetside body for it
Drummin89: Very cool man, I'm going to try really hard to not let this one get carried away just yet. I know how I am though, so I have to be careful. Fortunately the nearest hobby store is about an hour and a half away in Reno. Gotta get my real truck on the road first.
