I ask because I trimmed my drip rail and the filler peice needed is basically the same type of joint and location and the weld is very hard to get to with a grinder.

It's a pain in the tight spots. I use a small disc on an air grinder. As the disc wears I can get them into the tighter spots. They don't last very long but they do the job.
