good: grinder. impact sockets. da sander (has had the crap beat out of it),sawzall (havent used it much)air cut off tool. so-so : flux core welder. bad : grinding wheels, test lite, knockoff vice grips. i think for the weekend mechanic its hard to beat harbor frieght.
