Awesome! thank you. It says these are big blocks and that makes sense, looking at the physical size and weight of the engine! I'm kinda looking forward to having something a little different to show when the hood is popped. It seems I should probably figure out some sort of rev limiter though I've heard bad things happen if you wind these up.

Also, I my original 67 GMC light truck brochure showed up yesterday. Looks like no V8's were available in any 67 gmcs! Only straight and V6's in 2x4's and the 4x4's could only be had with the 305 V6!! This must be a 305 if original. The torque and power numbers exceed both the straight six's by a fair amount so they figured a v8 wasn't necessary.
