Is it easier/better to replace the pedal assembly that somehow connect a hydraulic setup to the existing clutch pedal?

I know where an 87 or so truck with a hydraulic clutch setup I can get the pedals and MC from, just wondering if its needed...

My truck is a 72 K10 with a 465 trans BTW.
