that is the correct answer. i had not heard about these particular mufflers until friday when i was talking to one of our suppliers and he told me they pick them up at the factory when they pick up the regular order-they buy directly from flowmaster since the factory is only 30 minutes away from our suppliers warehouse. there are other companies that make copies of the original 40 series so i guess flowmaster decided to compete with them.
