I think I have found what the problem is. Someone has put shims under all rear mounts for some reason. That caused the A/C pulley to rub that front crossmember. Then someone welded those tabs on the drivers side motor mount to raise the front of the engine. I am going to start over by finding the right mount and taking out all of those shims and see what happens.
I drove the truck today, and I cannot get the front drive shaft to stop turning. I have the truck in 2wd and the hubs unlocked but it still turns. It is not the front axle because I jacked up the truck and they are unlocked. The problem is with the transfercase. Any ideas?
