[Surfdaddy]

Got the hubcaps back from the plater. took 3 of the 5 wheels to get powder coated. Drove the truck around the block for the first time to see what needed to be done. Yikes, the tires were square, trans acted a little funny (hard shift) and though the brake peddal felt firm as soon as I put a load on them the wheel cyilinders let loose and the brakes almost went away. Still, it's the first time it's rolled since the late 80's so it wasen't too bad. While I was waiting for my kids to get ready I polished the crome and stainless trim. My wife walked by and I said look how the trim is comming out. She muttered something about polishing a turd and went inside.
