The phrase 'needs work' doesnt even begin to describe this lol. Ive never had a bike before, but it cant be to bad. Good examples of these sell in the 700 - 1000 range now. At 60 bucks, this was cheap enough. Parts are plentiful and cheap online. I figure I may still have a grand in it by the time its done, but by then Ill know every inch of it and wont worry about what might go wrong. |
I have one of those. But I think you're off a bit on the restoration cost. I thought I could do mine for $1000-$1200 but when all of the smoke cleared, it cost around $1,800. I sold it the local Honda shop for $1,900.
