I've decided to use spherical rod ends for my tilt on the hood.
The first thing I had to do was come up with a way to attach them to the hood.
Here's what I came up with.
I used some 3/4x1/2 DOM and cut it to fit around my support rods.
A couple of threaded inserts welded in and a home made gusset and it should work just fine.
