Hey, I got one of those! It was prop in a kevin costner movie that no one saw. I 'swagged' it when the pic was over and they were throwing stuff out. Somebody looked it up on line and said it was out of an early '70s 440 Mopar.
I've back burner-ed the project for now but I'd like to know more about your carb for future reference.
I never thought about using it on an L6 though. I think 500 CFM for a 296CuIn build: [292 @ .030- over = 296] is already too fat, but , heck, I got tired of always adjusting my Holley 390. After a 25 year run, it was shot...
